Evangelism is something few people enjoy doing because they do not fully understand what it entails. Many believe that evangelizing simply means sitting down with someone and explaining the entire Gospel, starting from the Book of Genesis. Rarely will we have that much time. In most situations, we may have only a minute or two to evangelize. To evangelize, one must explain Christ's work on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

You can evangelize by explaining the Gospel, handing out a tract, posting a Bible verse on social media stories, using a sound truck on the street, at a market, at a university, while getting a haircut, on the radio or television, with a sign at a traffic light, in a hospital, and so on. There are many ways to evangelize. Whenever you speak about God, you are already evangelizing. Remember that not every situation allows enough time to explain the full Gospel. Even a simple "Jesus loves you" is valid in situations like a traffic light, where a person drives past very quickly. However, when the opportunity arises, do not hesitate to explain it fully.

Be careful not to evangelize in places where the law forbids it or the context is inappropriate. An airplane, for example, is not a suitable setting for this. With that caveat in mind, this is where apologetics comes in. It serves to answer questions raised by non-Christians or by Christians who still harbor many doubts. During evangelism, individuals may appear who wish to offer counter-arguments or simply want to learn more. Do not be afraid to evangelize; apologetics is there to help.
