5 Tips For The Unemployed

''Gen 1:28 - God blessed them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Many people think that work only came into existence after the fall of man. It would therefore be a curse. This idea is mistaken. God created work for man when he established that he would take care of the animals, before the fall. Work is not a curse in itself; it often makes certain things easier. But what about when a person can't find a job? Well, if this is your case, here are some tips for you:

1- It's time to reflect: start thinking about what led you to this situation. Also think about what you can do to change this reality, what is within your reach. Don't blame family or friends, even if they have in fact done something wrong. Now is the time to forget the past and move forward, focusing on finding solutions.

2- Broaden your concept of work: the following forms of work can be considered: employment in the private sector, public service and entrepreneurship. Some people succeed in private companies and even become bosses. Others succeed in public service, some even pass more than one. Others succeed in entrepreneurship. They set up a business and manage to make it grow. There are also those who succeed in the priesthood. This depends on several social, genetic and spiritual factors.

3- Review your spiritual life: take advantage of your free time to pray and study the Holy Bible. If you preach, sing or play, dedicate yourself to your talent. Even when you get a job, do not forget about your spiritual life, otherwise you may lose it if you forget about God.

4- It is time to study: taking courses and reading books is very valuable. Studying does not make you a millionaire by itself, but it helps you to get and keep a job. In addition, of course, it gives you a more accurate view of things. Remember that training is very important in the job market.

5- Accept a “ladder” job: if you are unemployed, you don’t have much choice. If a job comes up for you, accept it, even if it is not ideal. You can stay there for a while and pay your bills until you find a more suitable one. I hope these tips help you. Many times the problem lies in the way we see things, but following this advice will give you a better understanding. Work is part of Christian doctrine.
